About Me

Meet Malka

I work as a medicine woman, priestess of Ifá, yoga teacher, bodyworker, sound healer, and musician.
But more than any title, I am a listener and a channel.
My work is devoted to the great mothers — the feminine forces that nourish, protect, cleanse, and reveal.
I work in service to Ọṣun, the spirit of the fresh waters, love, fertility, beauty, truth, and healing.
This is not quick work.
It is honest work.
It asks for readiness, humility, and care.

What is Mothership?

Ma. The first syllable. The sound that means nourishment across every tongue. Mother. Madre. Mater. Màmá. The sound of being held, of milk, of safety. The sound we return to when we need holding. And ship—the vessel. The structure built to carry us through waters too vast to cross alone. A ship requires a crew. It asks us to tend to each other, to be in relationship with those aboard.Mothership: where we are held by something greater and by each other. Where Ọṣun's waters carry us. Where the great mothers—across lineages, across time—remind us we mother ourselves and one another. We are never alone in the crossing.

Why this matters now

We're living in times sick with greed, separation, ego, and imbalanced power. Indigenous elders have prophesied that the rising of the feminine is what will heal us—a return to softness, listening, rest, and community.I'm here to serve that rising. To help us move from ego-driven and separate toward connected and whole. To create space where we mother ourselves and each other. Where we remember we're all held by something greater. The Mothership carries us through these waters of transformation, back home to ourselves.

My offerings

Energy Work

One-on-one sessions where body, spirit, and ancestors guide the healing that wants to happen.

Divination Healing
(1:1 Sessions)

Divination work is listening to the messages your body and spirit carry. I offer these 90 minute sessions in-person in Oakland, using massage and reiki to help you clear what's stuck while receiving guidance from ancestors and your higher self about your path forward.

Reiki Training
(Levels One & Two)

Reiki is energy work that connects you to the wellness within yourself and all of nature. I initiate students to Reiki Level One and Level Two through a process of five sessions. Thanks to my unique lineage, this form of reiki is infused with plant spirit intelligence.

About Me

Meet Malka Lew

I work as a medicine woman, priestess of Ifá, yoga teacher, bodyworker, sound healer, and musician. But more than any title, I am a listener and a channel.
I have over 700 hours of yoga training from Yoga Tree, Dharma Mitra, and two decades of study with my teacher Stephanie Snyder. I'm a Reiki Master and massage therapist with a Master's degree in Somatic Psychology. I lead plant medicine ceremonies, having trained in Peru and Brazil.
I tend to all of these practices with deep discipline, because I believe that's what right relationship with these powerful traditions requires—especially as someone practicing them in the West.

My Work
My spiritual path through Ifá in Nigeria has revealed my connection to Ọṣun, the great mother of the fresh waters. All of my work channels Ọṣun's medicine: caring, loving, protecting, fighting when necessary, and holding up the mirror to what needs healing.
Often, people find me when they're struggling with self-love, fertility, or matters of the heart. This is Ọṣun's work, and I'm honored to be her channel.According to my elders, another piece of my destiny is to guide people through deep transformative processes—like a midwife of death and rebirth. My spirit invokes purging and cleansing, where old patterns surface to be recognized, healed, and released so new ways of being can take root. This is not light work. It requires readiness, surrender, and a willingness to unravel the ego.

My Music
Music is prayer. It's how I communicate with the unseen and create container for healing.
I work with guitar, harp, harmonium, ngoni, medicine drums, and crystal singing bowls. My musical practice is woven into all of my work—whether I'm leading sound healing ceremonies, holding space in plant medicine gatherings, or offering devotional chanting in Bhakti yoga.I sing mantras from the yogic tradition, icaros I learned directly from the Yawanawá and Shipibo tribes, and original songs that have been channeled through ceremony and practice. Sometimes the songs are ancient. Sometimes they arrive new. All of them are medicine.I'm grateful to collaborate with incredible musicians who help hold ceremonial space and co-create sound healing experiences.Listen on Spotify | [Listen on Other Platform]

My Practice
I've done extensive training to remove my ego from my work and understand what is mine and what isn't. I maintain disciplined spiritual practices—yoga, sacred plant work, Ifá practices, and music—that are essential to holding clear, clean space for others.
I'm deeply aware that practicing multiple traditional systems requires intensive tending. I've taken my time to find the best alignment and care as I bring these practices together into my own unique offering. I'm committed to all of them and I listen deeply in the dance of right relationship.

My Vision
I'm an advocate for the rising of the feminine, which has been prophesied by many Indigenous elders I've studied with as the medicine needed to heal a world sick with greed, separation, ego, and imbalanced power.
I practice a way of softness, of listening, of taking time to rest and forgive. I honor the power of community and the sweet song in everyone's heart waiting to be sung. I believe the medicine already exists within all of us—but there is a silence and stillness necessary to access it.If you feel resonance with these words, the call to book a session has been happening for you for a long time.Your soul is ready.
